What’s Happening Blogosphere!

The name’s Jason…but for the sake of this blog, you can call me Jay or Jay Scott. (Jay Scott is the name I used when I worked in Radio). I am a 31-year-old Detroit native. Born and raised on the west side of the city, I graduated from Renaissance High School (1997), Michigan State University (2003, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication), The Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts (2004), and Wayne State University (2011, with a Master’s Degree in Journalism). I am a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., so G.O.M.A.B. to my Blu Family! (ΦΒΣ/ΖΦΒ).

I am Journalist who has done work with the Detroit News and this blog will be my outlet to write in lieu of me having a regular full-time gig. This blog will basically talk about anything, from Hip-Hop, to Food, to Sports, to Politics, to Detroit, to Life in General. This blog is run by Me. I am the editor-in-chief. My call is the final call on this. My only request is that you be respectful when you come through, leave your footprint, and say hi. Oh yeah, and TELL OTHERS. You can disagree with what I say, but just be respectful. Not as if what you think will change what I say as it is. So, ummm, Let’s Go!
